About this site

My name is Luis Cipriani, I´m from São Paulo, Brazil. My official job is as a software engineer in a consulting company, however, in my free time, I like to create websites that answers some philosophical questions about things that don't matter at all, but you always wanted to know. :-)

Technicall features of these mashups:

• Google Maps Api for the map;
• Google Earth KML in Google Earth Path Export feature;
• Javascript on client-side
• PHP on server-side
• Adhesion to web standards as much as I could do.
• Implementation of geo microformat on near by points.

For development (strongly recommended):

• Notepad++ as any-language-you-can-imagine editor
• Firebug extension for Firefox: that's a masterpiece for development in javascript. If you don't have yet, please install now!
• FireFTP extension for Firefox: simple, light, useful. Just what I need.

This website uses FAM FAM FAM icons and this saves me a lot of time, since I'm a poor graphic designer.

I want to express my HATE here for the Microsoft's product called Internet Explorer and for the hours that I'd lost, trying to make it understand that PATTERNS are things that we must follow when we are talking about web development. Please, if you like this website and uses that "software", consider change for a real one and make all web developers happy!
